BDC designed and built this
kitchen for a home in the woods
in Jamestown, Tn. They are of
birch, and feature a great
entertaining layout set between
two rustic beams.
 |
Walls were removed to create
this large open area for the
kitchen, living room, and dining
room areas. Ceilings were
vaulted with exposed beams
covered with rough-sawn white
pine. Cabinetry mixes cherry
with almond. Skylights bring
lots of light into the spacious
kitchen.
 |
This kitchen was designed and
built as part of a total
renovation of a 1920’s North
Chattanooga house. Cabinets are
of cherry with Arts and Crafts
details.
 |
This kitchen was part of a
whole-house renovation.
Cabinetry was designed and
constructed of Alder, with a bar
separating the dining/living
room area, and a built in window
desk. Great kitchen!
 |
This is one of our favorites!
It’s a Craftsman style kitchen,
and was part of an extensive
remodel that included removal of
walls, all new hardwood floors,
a laundry room, pantry, and
bath. The kitchen features
custom Craftsman top moldings on
the cabinets and corbels
supporting the bar. The client
designed and selected the
backsplash tile for a
magnificent final detail.
 |
This kitchen combines natural
finished heart pine and
milk-painted finishes, along
with tasteful accents…turned
lets, mantel style stove
enclosure, and custom tile. The
result was a kitchen that looked
right at home in this 1920’s
North Chattanooga residence.
 |
This is a great example of a
kitchen “face lift” using
existing cabinetry. The remodel
included complete re-wiring, new
glass tile backsplash, new toe
kicks, updated hardware, and new
paint on all. Economical, but
impactful.
 |
After removing the wall dividing
the kitchen & family room, this
island was designed and built to
be the living center of the
home. Cabinetry is oak to match
the existing kitchen. Each side
of the island contributes a
dimension; one side has a
kitchen prep area, another has
bookshelves, a third is seating,
and a fourth is a home office.
It is topped with a striking
slab of blue pearl granite.
 |
This kitchen overlooks the
Signal Mt brow, and the view
inside rivals the view outside!
Arts & crafts style cabinetry
with milk paint and quartersawn
oak. Great layout and details
with copper tile, a hammered
copper sink, and counters of
quartersawn oak, granite, and
soapstone. Great lighting too!
 |
This is a Mountain Shadows
kitchen with a nice mix of
cherry and painted cabinets.
Highlights include a hutch built
into the cabinetry, countertop
offsets, and carved corbels.
 |
Natural maple makes this kitchen
light and spacious, replacing
the original dark cabinets.
With lots of custom features in
the new cabinetry, great
lighting, and stone tile
backsplash, this kitchen
transformed this home.
 |
This two story addition,
combined with removing existing
interior walls resulted in a
nice open layout with the
kitchen, living room, and dining
room. The new layout opens to a
screened porch and custom deck,
with a glass front display
cabinet and granite topped bar
between the kitchen and living
room areas.
